This light, warm-colored is rare (since a blight epidemic which began in the early 20th century). Reclaimed from barns and houses throughout the Appalachian Mountains, from Maine to Georgia, our American Chestnut can include occasional knots, nail holes and worm holes that all add character to the wood.
